Aug 7th, 2009 by BoB
Some of you ran into a little problem using the EzineArticles Autoposter. So I compiled a mini-FAQ. Hopefully, this helps solving the problems. If you have more issues, please write them in comments. Check the official Homepage of EzineArticles Autoposter Wordpress Plugin.
If you haven’t, you should upgrade to the latest version 1.2.2 which fixed a few bugs causing empty articles. You can download version 1.2.2 here.
1. Why does the plugin stop posting articles?
EzineArticles.com Terms of Service specifies that you should not post more than 25 articles per year. If you believe that you still comply with the TOS, you can reset the counter “Clear Counter” at the bottom of the page. The plugin will post another 25 articles before suspending.
If you schedule is 30 days per article, you can turn off the article counting entirely.
2. Why does the “Last Post” and “Total Posts” counters inaccurate?
This is a problem of the Wordpress plugin option page. Click on “Settings -> EzineArticles Autoposter” should refresh the counters.
Please report bug and feedback using comments.
3. Why does the plug-in fail to install?
EzineArticles Autoposter requires PHP 5 and cURL to work. Most hosting companies offer both PHP4 and PHP5, you could choose it from your control panel. If you don’t have PHP5 then you can ask your hosting provider to install for you.
4. Can I set up posting more than 25 article per run?
No. The most article that can be posted per run is 25. If you have multiple tasks, your IP address is likely to be banned by EzineArticles.com.
