My close encounter with the Internet started in 1993, when the most popular web browser was NCSA Mosaic and the most common Linux was Slackware 1.0 on 13 floppies. I was a lurker then. Benjamin Franklin once said, “In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.” Nowadays, two other things are here with a high degree of certainty during our life time. These are Globalization and the Digital Economy.
